Entry Level Analytical Chemist

Location: Groton, CT, USA; candidates must live within a commutable distance of Groton

Salary: USD 22.25–24 per hour

What you will do

• Prepare, set up, and analyze drug substance and drug product samples.
• Apply chromatography, spectroscopy, dissolution, and other analytical techniques.
• Support analytical method development, optimization, qualification, validation, and transfer.
• Conduct degradation, stability, and investigational studies and assess analytical trends.
• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation under guidance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data integrity in electronic laboratory systems while following GMP requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field, or equivalent directly related experience.
• Basic laboratory skills and the ability to accurately follow written procedures and protocols.
• Experience in GMP laboratories and analytical chemistry.
• Experience with electronic laboratory notebooks and data trending.
• Strong scientific, computer, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship is required.
