Laboratory Analyst (Environmental Science)

What you will do

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing according to established procedures.
• Prepare and analyze chemical, physical, and biological samples.
• Operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and audit completed work.
• Monitor inventory, maintain an organized workspace, and submit reorder requests.
• Prioritize samples, meet deadlines, and support colleagues, clients, engineers, and project teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, environmental science, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, strong organization, and effective time management.
• Ability to follow laboratory protocols and learn environmental regulations and compliance requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in the environmental industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related office tools.
