Generator Field Service Technician II

Location: Fife, Washington, USA; on-site field service with up to 50% travel.

Salary: $30.00–$45.00 per hour, plus eligibility for short-term and long-term incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Provide on-site and phone troubleshooting for hirify.global industrial products.
• Repair equipment and perform equipment modifications and installations.
• Support sales activities for industrial power-generation products.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and electromechanical issues.
• Travel to customer sites using a provided fleet vehicle, with travel required for up to 50% of the role.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least four years of experience servicing and troubleshooting Emergency Power Supply Systems (EPSS).
• Working knowledge of mechanical design, AC/DC circuitry, power generation, wiring schematics, and connection diagrams.
• Understanding of electrical distribution system components and operation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, independent decision-making, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with electronics, electromechanical technology, power-generation equipment, light towers, pumps, heating products, and spark-ignited systems.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.
• Six years of experience servicing and troubleshooting EPSS.
