Analyst, Finance and Capital Markets - Battery Storage (Battery Storage)

Location: Remote-first with work-from-home or hybrid options from offices in The Woodlands, San Francisco, Chicago, Seattle, Brooklyn, Denver, Palm Beach Gardens, and Birmingham. Preference for candidates based in or near San Francisco, Chicago, Brooklyn, or Seattle.

Salary: Starts at $105,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

hirify.global develops, finances, owns, and operates standalone battery energy storage projects supporting North American electric grids.

What you will do

• Support debt and tax equity financing transactions, including marketing materials, due diligence, consultant management, and financial modeling.
• Own project financial models across development, construction, and operations, including project optimization and offtake bidding.
• Source and validate model inputs with Development, Interconnection, Markets, EPC, Origination, and Asset Management teams.
• Create dashboards, reports, and analytics for senior management and corporate investors.
• Analyze macroeconomic, ISO-level, tax law, interest-rate, and broader sector trends affecting portfolio viability.
• Support economic analysis for PPA pricing, project design, equipment selection, and O&M contract negotiations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of project finance transaction experience, or a rigorous finance/technical degree with completed or planned financial modeling training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with experience in project financial modeling.
• Ability to manage large projects with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams and take on responsibility quickly.

Nice to have

• Tax equity modeling experience.
• Experience in energy storage, renewable energy, or gas.
