Senior Director, Managing Partner Transitions (Corporate Finance)

Location: Milwaukee, WI Corporate, United States

Salary: $144,000–$216,000 per year. Geographic-specific pay structures may apply, including ranges of $158,400–$237,600 and $165,600–$248,400.

What you will do

• Lead financial strategy for Managing Partner appointments, office capitalization, ownership transitions, and leadership changes.
• Assess capital needs, funding structures, liquidity, and long-term financial sustainability for local offices.
• Lead financial analysis and transaction support for mergers, acquisitions, consolidations, office splits, territory changes, and succession events.
• Partner with leadership candidates and senior stakeholders to evaluate opportunities and prepare for ownership and operating responsibilities.
• Develop and present financial recommendations to governance committees and executive leaders.
• Structure transition-related financial arrangements and lead a team responsible for modeling, projections, due diligence, deal analysis, and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in finance, business strategy, consulting, corporate development, operations, investment analysis, transaction advisory, or related fields.
• Experience leading complex initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, ownership transitions, integrations, organizational transformations, strategic investments, or large-scale projects.
• Advanced financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and scenario analysis capabilities.
• Strong executive communication, negotiation, judgment, relationship management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Experience leading teams and translating complex financial and transaction concepts into clear recommendations.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, insurance, distribution, franchising, or other multi-location business models.
• MBA or another advanced degree.
