Licensed Optician - General Manager

What you will do

• Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, scheduling, and policy compliance.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop associates while supporting recruitment, retention, and performance evaluations.
• Manage store sales, profitability, budgets, supplies, merchandising, and promotional initiatives.
• Monitor performance and create strong customer and patient experiences from start to finish.
• Partner with the Doctor to support high-quality patient care.
• Conduct audits, maintain accurate reporting and associate records, and uphold quality, safety, facility, and service standards.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of retail experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• ABO and NCLE certification required.
• Strong ability to lead, coach, and build effective associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of store operations, business performance, customer service, and sales.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
