Location: Hybrid work based at locations in Germany or the United Kingdom, including Berlin, Erlangen, Muelheim an der Ruhr, and Newcastle.

What you will do

• Define and lead the regional Quality strategy, priorities, governance, objectives, and performance reporting.
• Build and develop the regional Quality organization, including capacity, competence, succession, and deployment models.
• Drive a Right First Time quality culture, accountability, operational excellence, Lean methods, digitalization, and continuous improvement.
• Represent Quality in leadership and business reviews, manage senior escalations, and coordinate with customers, regulators, and cross-functional teams.
• Own regional assurance and audit programs, quality management systems, non-conformance processes, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor quality risks, trends, productivity, and cost of poor quality to support informed business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or a related discipline; a relevant master’s degree is advantageous.
• 10–15 years of progressive Quality Management experience across quality assurance and quality control, with substantial leadership across regions, countries, or sites.
• Proven executive leadership and organizational change experience in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, integrated management systems, applicable codes and standards, non-conformance management, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action.
• Fluent and persuasive English communication with senior leaders, customers, regulators, and cross-cultural teams.
• Experience in energy, power generation, industrial, or oil and gas sectors, plus practical Lean Management or Six Sigma knowledge and digital reporting tools such as Power BI.

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Experience in environment, health, and safety auditing.
• Relevant master’s degree.
