Chief Critical Infrastructure Engineer (Data Center)

What you will do

• Support 100% uptime for data center facilities and customer infrastructure.
• Drive operational processes and procedures, including developing and reviewing MOPs and SOPs.
• Coordinate customer application implementations, including preparation of space, power, and network infrastructure.
• Manage technical aspects of facility operations, including power and HVAC systems.
• Provide technical support for customer integration and solution implementation.
• Prepare technical facility presentations, reports, and performance metrics while resolving day-to-day facility issues.

Requirements

• 7 or more years of facility operations and management experience in the data center industry.
• Strong knowledge of UPS, generators, mechanical systems, and general networking technologies.
• Strong supervisory and managerial capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation and proposal design skills, with the ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines.
• Familiarity with facility concepts, practices, codes, standards, environmental and safety regulations, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, and OHSAS 18000 standards.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent training, education, and experience.
• Previous data center industry experience.
