Engineering Technician II (T2) 2nd Shift (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $21.50–$29.20 per hour

What you will do

• Perform routine to moderately complex testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level electrical and mechanical problems.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, rework, and quality notifications.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing according to engineering and manufacturing documentation.
• Compile logbooks and test procedure documentation using clear written communication.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a secure, clean, and healthy work environment.

Requirements

• Analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to technical activities.
• Ability to read and work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and written or verbal descriptions.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems using established procedures and scientific methods.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate equipment, including forklifts or other heavy machinery.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, climb, work in tight spaces, and lift as required.
• Ability to work in a clean-room environment with required personal protective equipment and in areas with potentially difficult noise levels.
