Assembly Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Hatfield, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite work during EST hours

Salary: $90,000–$95,000 annually

Manufactures engineered tube plugging products and repair solutions for heat exchangers, condensers, coolers, chillers, piping, tubing, valves, and pressure vessels.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate daily activities for the Pop-A-Plug assembly team.
• Act as the quality gatekeeper by conducting floor audits, inspections, and product release checks.
• Ensure job travelers and production documentation are accurate and complete.
• Partner with Quality and Engineering to investigate nonconformances and implement corrective actions.
• Identify recurring defects and improve processes through mistake-proofing, training, 5S, and workplace organization.
• Coordinate onboarding, cross-training, and employee qualification activities while setting standards for safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and conduct.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree or relevant manufacturing education is preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience and previous supervisory or manufacturing leadership experience.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality requirements, and production documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, coaching, and training skills.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications and manufacturing or ERP systems.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated or quality-critical manufacturing environments.
• Experience with mechanical assembly, inspection processes, ERP systems, and production travelers.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, nonconformance resolution, and employee qualification programs.
