Assembly Supervisor - Engines (1st Shift) (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the Hattiesburg, Mississippi facility; first-shift schedule

Salary: $69,800.00–$87,950.00 per year

What you will do

• Supervise assembly, engine testing, and packaging operations, managing safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee morale.
• Lead production teams of approximately 60–100 employees, including operators, team leads, group leads, and repair technicians.
• Set daily activities and weekly schedules, monitor performance, provide feedback, and coordinate employee training and time-off planning.
• Drive corrective actions, problem-solving, and continuous improvement using lean manufacturing tools, 5S, Six Sigma, and related improvement events.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Materials, Maintenance, customers, and suppliers to resolve production and equipment issues.
• Use SAP, WorkBrain, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to prepare reports and manage production information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• At least five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least two years of experience in a people leadership role.
• Computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Communication and leadership skills, including experience leading groups toward a common goal.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience in engine assembly or related industrial assembly.
• Associate degree.
