Location: Hybrid role based in Northwest Columbus, Ohio, United States. Onsite Tuesdays and Thursdays; remote Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship and must reliably report to the assigned clinic.
Salary: $23–$28 per hour for the temporary position.

is a digital clinic providing virtual, multidisciplinary addiction-medicine care, including medication-assisted treatment and ongoing recovery support.
What you will do
- Support patient intake, preparation, rooming, follow-up, scheduling, and care coordination.
- Serve as a primary patient contact and triage urgent clinical requests to registered nurses.
- Manage pharmacy communications, prescription transmission verification, refill inquiries, and medication logistics within scope.
- Order and track drug screens and other laboratory testing, upload results, and maintain complete clinical documentation in the EHR.
- Partner with nurses, providers, and care-team members to improve clinical workflows and patient experience.
- Support onsite clinic operations, including supplies, check-in, office readiness, safety, privacy, and administrative coordination.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant and an active nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications maintained throughout employment.
- At least one year of experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, patient advocacy, care coordination, crisis support, peer coaching, or a related patient liaison role.
- Knowledge of healthcare and addiction-medicine terminology, with a patient-centered and non-stigmatizing approach.
- Experience with scheduling, common business tools, video meetings, spreadsheets, and multiple platforms in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Collaborative communication skills and commitment to advocating for patients and care-team members.
Nice to have
- Remote or telemedicine experience.
- Substance Use Disorder and harm-reduction experience.
- Lived experience with SUD or AUD recovery.
- Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
- Experience with Zendesk.
