Medication Nurse

Location: Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, USA; onsite at the treatment center. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Pay: $30.00–$40.00 hourly

What you will do

• Administer methadone as prescribed and ensure safe dosing.
• Screen and assess new and existing patients, observe responses to treatment, and monitor progress.
• Collect and document urine specimens, laboratory work, physicals, and patient dosing records.
• Maintain medication and medical supply inventory in accordance with DEA regulations.
• Prepare courtesy and vacation dose packages and support treatment-center regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with counselors and nursing staff, mentor new team members, and continue developing clinical skills.

Requirements

• Active LPN, LVN, or RN license in Idaho required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment involving prolonged standing, bending, keyboarding, and potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• Ability to use personal protective equipment when required and work with patients affected by substance use and mental health conditions.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemical addiction treatment.
• Knowledge of medication dispensing equipment, centrifuges, physical assessment tools, breathalyzers, and other clinical devices.
• Data entry, computer, office equipment, and electronic medical records proficiency.
• Strong prioritization, critical-thinking, decision-making, independent-work, and collaboration skills.
