Director of Technical Partnerships (POS)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia; hybrid. Domestic and international travel may be required.

What you will do

• Develop the technical partnership strategy for the Genius POS ecosystem across restaurants, retail, sports and entertainment venues, and food service management.
• Build scalable onboarding, integration governance, certification, testing, and launch-readiness programs.
• Lead technical discovery, architecture reviews, implementation planning, integration delivery, and lifecycle management.
• Coordinate Product, Engineering, QA, Operations, Professional Services, Support, and external technology partners.
• Manage technical escalations, integration reliability, root cause analysis, operational monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Build and lead teams covering partner technical management, solution architecture coordination, certification, enablement, operations, and escalation management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 8+ years of experience in technical partnerships, technical program management, partner integrations, platform ecosystems, solution consulting, or related technology leadership.
• Experience with API-based integrations, SaaS ecosystems, platform partnerships, or enterprise software implementations.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, system integrations, API frameworks, technical onboarding, and implementation methodologies.
• Experience leading teams and complex cross-functional initiatives with external technology partners.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for technical and executive audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience in restaurant, hospitality, venue management, retail, food service, POS, payments, commerce, loyalty, ordering, labor management, or inventory technology.
• Experience with partner certification programs, developer ecosystems, API platforms, or technical alliance programs.
• Background in enterprise SaaS, fintech, payments, commerce platforms, hospitality software, or international partner ecosystems.
