Director, Technical Program Management

Location: Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Annual salary: $130,000–$260,000, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead complex, large-scale technical programs across multiple engineering and business areas.
• Define program goals, stage gates, delivery paths, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, and prioritization frameworks.
• Drive end-to-end system and platform solution design, identifying scalability constraints, architectural dependencies, and modernization opportunities.
• Manage risks, issues, budgets, critical paths, delivery metrics, launches, and course corrections for programs at risk.
• Align stakeholders through data-driven communication, decision documents, impact analyses, and consensus-building.
• Mentor program and engineering team members while improving repeatable workflows, automation, and ways of working.

Requirements

• Work location: Bentonville, Arkansas, United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related area and 7 years of experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or a related area.
• Alternatively, 9 years of experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or a related area.
• Experience with program planning, technical solution design, risk management, stakeholder management, analytical problem-solving, and delivery execution.
• Ability to lead cross-functional programs, resolve ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and mentor team members.

Nice to have

• Project Management certification.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration with a relevant specialization.
• Experience in product design and supervision.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
