Regional Project Manager - Data Centers (HVAC)

Location: Remote in Colorado, based in Denver, with 50–75% travel to data center job sites across California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Washington, Wyoming, and British Columbia.

Salary: $111,000–$188,000 annual base salary in Denver, plus a 15% bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Direct data center projects from initial planning through completion, warranty, and maintenance transition.
• Develop project plans, schedules, staffing strategies, budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations.
• Manage project cash flow, progress billing, collections support, change orders, and customer sign-off.
• Coordinate the design and installation of commercial HVAC solutions, including chiller installation and commissioning.
• Monitor regulatory compliance, safety, risks, quality, costs, and project performance.
• Build relationships with customers, building owners, contractors, subcontractors, internal teams, and field support staff.

Requirements

• 4+ years of related experience combining commercial HVAC work and/or data center experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent additional work experience.
• Experience managing new-construction mechanical projects, specifically chiller installation and commissioning.
• Ability to work on construction sites and support HVAC installation, startup, and warranty activities.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours or on weekends when required and travel 50–75%.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center solutions.
• Knowledge of HVAC design, applications, and energy-saving solutions.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PMI, or Six Sigma.
