Area Service Manager (HVAC)

Location: King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, United States. Hybrid schedule with onsite work Monday through Thursday and a flexible work location on Fridays. Travel to customer job sites is required, including outdoor areas and mechanical or equipment rooms.

Annual base salary: $98,200–$140,490. The role is not incentive- or sales-commission-eligible.

What you will do

• Lead service repair, upgrades, installations, service agreements, field coordination, invoicing, collections, and customer satisfaction activities.
• Own P&L responsibilities, forecast monthly revenue, control operating budgets, and drive growth in service agreements, repairs, installations, and turnkey services.
• Manage risk and margin expectations across service agreements, turnkey services, repair work, sales, and fulfillment.
• Oversee service coordination, emergency repairs, maintenance contracts, scheduled work, upgrades, installations, replacement components, and long-term service agreements.
• Recruit, coach, train, and develop service employees while balancing technician skills and resources across the district.
• Improve transactional processes, cash flow, utilization, customer experience, and environmental, health, and safety compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, technical systems, equipment, skilled trades, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing and coaching large teams and organizing work schedules.
• Project management skills for overseeing project execution, startups, and customer requests.
• Technology proficiency with Microsoft applications; Salesforce experience is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions in the previous three years.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Thursday in King of Prussia and travel to customer job sites.
