What you will do
- Oversee revenue recognition processes in accordance with ASC 606 and company policies.
- Perform monthly revenue close procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Review customer contracts for accurate billing, revenue reporting, and recognition treatment.
- Analyze deferred revenue and ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
- Support financial audits by preparing schedules and required documentation.
- Improve revenue processes and support the implementation and optimization of revenue accounting systems.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 and US GAAP.
- Experience with revenue recognition, contract review, billing, and revenue reporting.
- Experience performing reconciliations, variance analysis, and monthly close procedures.
- Ability to analyze deferred revenue and maintain compliance with internal controls.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be based in the USA for this remote role.
