Endocrinology Physician (Remote)

Location: Fully remote, US-based. W-2 schedules are available for 32, 36, or 40 hours per week.

Base annual salary: $210,000–$250,000 USD.

What you will do

• Provide telemedicine care for obesity and comprehensive diabetes management, including insulin titration, insulin pumps, and continuous glucose monitors.
• Conduct initial and follow-up visits, review charts, and manage patients with complex CKD, ESRD, and cardiovascular conditions.
• Develop advanced treatment plans and provide medical support for complex endocrinology cases and escalated concerns.
• Prescribe non-controlled obesity and diabetes medications for patients under direct care and in coordination with APPs.
• Support clinical documentation, treatment protocols, quality improvement, and consistent evidence-based care.
• Mentor and collaborate with Endocrine APPs and Registered Dietitians while contributing to team meetings and professional development.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with current ABIM board certification in Endocrinology.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in any US state, with eligibility to obtain additional state licenses.
• At least two years of post-residency clinical experience in obesity medicine or endocrinology and pharmacotherapy, or completion of an accredited Endocrinology or Obesity Medicine fellowship.
• Experience managing complex comorbidities, including CKD, ESRD, and CAD/CV conditions.
• Expertise in advanced diabetes management, including CGMs, insulin pumps, and complex insulin regimens.
• Medicare opt-in status, strong communication skills, and willingness to work a 32-, 36-, or 40-hour W-2 schedule.

Nice to have

• ABOM certification.
• Experience providing synchronous telehealth care.
• Experience working with APPs, residents, or trainees in an academic clinical setting.
• Medical fluency in Spanish.
