NPI Product Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Leuven, Belgium; onsite role with domestic and international travel of up to 30%

What you will do

• Support NPI and sustaining engineering for inspection and metrology tools, including optical profilers and component inspection machines.
• Define and maintain new product structures with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Manage engineering materials, documentation, configuration control, field-replaceable units, jigs, prototype materials, and engineering change orders.
• Build complex project plans, coordinate multiple disciplines, and drive product transfers to production.
• Support field service by coordinating spare parts, troubleshooting processes, and service infrastructure improvements.
• Prepare cost-of-service models, define training requirements, train instructors, and support beta-site installations, upgrades, and escalations.

Requirements

• Experience as a Systems Engineer or NPI/Process Engineer.
• Strong analytical and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of industry-standard problem-solving methodologies and models.
• Ability to troubleshoot, teach, collaborate with groups, and explain sophisticated concepts clearly.
• Availability for domestic and international travel up to 30%.
