Supplier Quality Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Blacksburg, Virginia, United States. Monday–Thursday 9-hour shifts and a half-day Friday. Travel up to 25% annually, including domestic travel and occasional international travel.

Salary: $60,000–$90,000 annually.

What you will do

• Manage quality aspects of supplier relationships.
• Conduct supplier audits and maintain supplier ratings communication.
• Onboard new suppliers and support supplier development.
• Engage suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve performance.
• Perform ongoing supplier risk assessments.
• Minimize internal risks related to incoming inspections.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering, or a two-year technical degree with five years of quality or machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.
• Experience working in a team-based manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Blacksburg, Virginia.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% annually, sometimes on short notice.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required.
