Salary: $95,000–$115,000 USD per year

What you will do

  • Lead supplier onboarding, reassessments, and special process witnessing audits.
  • Perform rate readiness and conformity readiness assessments for domestic and international suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier quality management systems and applicable special processes against aerospace and company requirements.
  • Create, issue, and track Supplier Corrective Action Requests and collaborate with suppliers on root cause corrective actions.
  • Review supplier performance KPIs, determine oversight levels, and prepare audit reports.
  • Improve supplier management and supply chain processes.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in engineering or a related field.
  • One to three years of industry experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing company certified to ISO 9001 or SAE AS9100.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with online ERP systems and Microsoft Office or Google productivity applications.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30%.

Nice to have

  • Supplier management and auditing experience.
  • ASQ certification or Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
  • AS9100D Lead Auditor certification.
  • Experience with root cause corrective action investigations, First Article Inspections, FAA conformity inspections, or test plans.
