TL;DR

Staff Product Manager (AI) (PDLC/SDLC): Driving end-to-end planning and execution for developer platforms and enterprise software delivery systems with an accent on outcome-focused roadmaps, data-driven discovery, and cross-functional alignment. Focus on translating company strategy into execution-level tracking, reprioritizing platform capabilities, and embedding generative AI into product management workflows.

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Salary: $188,500–$255,000 annual base pay, with potential cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

Own outcome-focused roadmaps for developer platforms and technical operating systems, connecting company strategy to execution-level tracking.
Manage product backlogs, platform capabilities, capacity triage, and rapid reprioritization based on business demands and engineering constraints.
Lead user research, developer interviews, and discovery sessions to identify friction and translate findings into data-driven requirements.
Align product and engineering stakeholders, manage boundaries, de-escalate conflicts, and drive adoption across the organization.
Communicate platform strategy to senior executives and developer communities.
Establish practices for safely using generative AI tools in product discovery, scenario modeling, documentation, and prototyping.

Requirements

10+ years of technical product management experience focused on developer platforms, shared enterprise services, work portfolio tooling, or complex PDLC/SDLC ecosystems.
End-to-end experience translating enterprise goals into detailed software delivery structures, including user-story-level tracking.
Experience combining quantitative metrics with qualitative research to create requirements, decision logs, and roadmaps.
Experience driving organizational adoption, negotiating trade-offs, and handling stakeholder pushback across large user bases.
Strong technical fluency in tool integrations, database schemas, system interoperability, and rapid prototyping.
Undergraduate degree in computer science, computer/software engineering, or a related technical or operational discipline required.

Nice to have

Hands-on experience with modern AI tools for prototyping and mockups.
PMP and/or CSPO certification.
MBA.
