Harness/Electrical/Electronics Manufacturing Engineer (Spacecraft AIT)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; onsite manufacturing and shopfloor activities with possible work at customer, spaceport, or supplier sites.

What you will do

• Define and optimize end-to-end harness manufacturing and spacecraft integration processes across assigned projects.
• Coordinate with engineering and mechanical design teams to ensure designs are feasible for industrial production.
• Prepare manufacturing dossiers, bills of material, work instructions, work orders, process flows, and industrial planning inputs.
• Define production sequences, tooling and equipment requirements, quality controls, resources, schedules, and lead times.
• Provide technical support to production during breadboard, qualification, and flight model execution, including AIT activities.
• Develop and deploy capabilities for new products and processes, supporting qualification campaigns, cost planning, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of production or manufacturing engineering experience, preferably with space-related products.
• Knowledge of aerospace, electrical, electronic, or systems engineering and manufacturing or test processes for the space industry.
• Experience with electrical harness manufacturing activities and understanding of aerospace standards such as ECSS, ESCC, or MIL.
• Ability to prepare clear manufacturing documentation and work effectively with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and suppliers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with strong planning, communication, teamwork, quality, and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work offsite for undefined periods at short notice and flexibility to work extended hours based on site operational needs.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of RF and antenna products.
• Experience with CATIA Electrical Module, Excel VBA, Google Apps Script, Windchill, SAP, or other ERP systems.
