Infrastructure Consulting Intern (Cloud and Network Infrastructure)

Location: Des Moines, United States; travel to assigned client locations required, with up to 25% travel

What you will do

• Support and troubleshoot workstations, servers, networks, hardware, and software for multiple clients.
• Administer Office 365, Windows Servers, workstations, Azure AD, SharePoint, and Teams environments.
• Develop IT operations plans and assist with infrastructure assessments and IT audits.
• Implement or upgrade infrastructure using platforms and vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, HP, VMware, Nimble, NetApp, and Meraki.
• Deploy collaboration solutions including VoIP telephony, video conferencing, and related tools.
• Help migrate on-premise infrastructure to Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud workloads and support Modern Workplace adoption.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related IT field.
• Passion for technology and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Visio.
• Knowledge of Apple and Windows software and hardware.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned client locations, up to 25%.

Nice to have

• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Experience with Office 365, email, SharePoint, firewalls, VMware ESX, vSphere, Windows Servers, Azure AD, Teams, Citrix, Remote Desktop Services, VPNs, or enterprise mobile devices.
