Internal Medical Translator - English to Korean (Life Sciences)

What you will do

• Translate written medical and life sciences content from English into Korean while preserving the original structure, style, ideas, and facts.
• Research industry-specific terminology and ensure accurate, culturally appropriate translations.
• Proofread translated texts for terminology, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Update and improve glossaries, translation memories, style guides, and other translation assets.
• Identify gaps in instructions and external issues that may affect client commitments.
• Collaborate with the Translation Services team to deliver translations on time and meet quality standards.

Requirements

• Native Korean speaker with fluent English.
• At least 3 years of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life sciences content, including clinical trial documents.
• A university or tertiary degree in translation or linguistics with at least 3 years of translation experience, or at least 5 years of translation experience without a university degree.
• Experience with translation management systems and CAT tools.
