Collections Specialist (Credit Cards)

Location: Hybrid role at 6275 Eastland Road, Brook Park, OH 44142, United States. Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (40 hours per week).

hirify.global operates CFNA, a private-label credit card bank serving Firestone Complete Auto Care, Tires Plus, Wheel Works, and other automotive retailers.

What you will do

• Contact customers about 90–180+ day past-due credit card accounts through inbound and outbound calls.
• Negotiate payment arrangements, settlements, and workout plans to resolve delinquent balances.
• Initiate account corrections, updates, and adjustments when needed.
• Maintain accurate account notes and update customer statuses in the database.
• Validate customer demographic information, including phone numbers and addresses.
• Complete required bank compliance certifications and provide professional customer service.

Requirements

• At least six months of prior collections experience.
• Strong communication, listening, empathy, negotiation, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to meet performance metrics, multitask, type accurately, and work collaboratively.
• Basic knowledge of federal and state collection regulations.
• Must meet U.S. employment eligibility requirements; temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify candidates.

• Bilingual Spanish/English communication skills.
