R&D Science Intern - Immunoassay Development (Immunoassay)

Location: On-site in Chaska, Minnesota, United States

Salary: $30 per hour

What you will do

• Support general laboratory operations, material inventory, and laboratory maintenance.
• Work with scientists on the development of fully automated immunoassays for diagnostic instruments.
• Complete assignments requiring independent thinking and basic analysis.
• Document studies and experimental work.
• Contribute to an immunoassay development project and present the project at the end of the internship.
• Learn hirify.global Business System fundamentals.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline.
• 0–2+ years of laboratory experience; coursework experience is acceptable.
• Knowledge of good laboratory practices and scientific methods.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Chaska, Minnesota.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of statistical methods and design of experiments.
