R&D Intern (Summer 2027) (Chemical Engineering)

hirify.global develops consumer products across multiple brands, with R&D teams involved in product concepts, raw materials, manufacturing, and finished goods.

What you will do

• Support product, packaging, and process development projects across hirify.global brands.
• Develop or refine formulations, packaging components, and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct consumer testing, mechanical and chemical performance testing, and package component qualifications.
• Use laboratories and pilot plants to run experiments, collect data, and perform statistical analysis.
• Prototype samples, draw conclusions, and recommend next steps for technical projects.
• Present an individual project to the leadership team at the end of the 10-week summer program.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, BioEngineering, Materials Science Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Graduating between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Ability to work in a laboratory with various materials, including dust, and perform fine-motor prototyping tasks.
• Must provide proof of legal right to work and be employed in the United States as a full-time employee after graduation.
