mRNA Manufacturing Intern (Full Time)

Location: Onsite in Redmond, Washington, United States

Salary: $22–$24 per hour

What you will do

• Process DNA using PCR, digestion, and purification to prepare templates for in-vitro transcription.
• Perform enzymatic reactions to produce and process mRNA.
• Purify mRNA using HPLC, spin columns, and other technologies.
• Run in-process and final-product quality checks, including gel electrophoresis, capillary electrophoresis, RT-PCR, cell expression, HPLC, and dot blot.
• Follow production SOPs, document processes and materials, and maintain compliance with validated procedures.
• Track inventory and order production materials internally and externally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
• Availability for a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week and onsite work in Redmond, Washington.
• Ability to work effectively in a small cross-disciplinary team.
• Ability to communicate politely and concisely with peers and managers.

Nice to have

• Experience working with mRNA.
• Experience with PCR, HPLC, or enzymatic reactions.
• Experience working successfully in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
