Intern - Kite Development - Process Development (Analytical Development) (Biotech)

Location: Santa Monica, California, United States; hybrid work at the designated site is required, and fully remote work is not offered.

Salary: $19.00–$55.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Work in a laboratory setting under supervision to create study plans, execute studies, and analyze data.
• Document experiments and results in an electronic laboratory notebook.
• Generate an SOP or study report by the end of the internship.
• Participate in job-related training and professional development activities.
• Prepare and deliver a final PowerPoint presentation on the internship work.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old at the start of the internship.
• Be enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program at an accredited U.S. college or university and remain enrolled full-time in the following fall semester.
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
• Be independently authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without school or employer sponsorship.
• Commit to a full-time internship lasting 10–12 consecutive weeks between May and August and work at the designated site; relocation may be required.
• Demonstrate analytical problem-solving, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• PhD or PharmD degree qualification.
• Experience with DLS and NTA particle analysis platforms.
• Experience with subvisible particle characterization using Light Obscuration, MFI, or FlowCam.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
