Senior Manufacturing Scientist - Production

What you will do

• Lead complex technical projects, including product and site transfers, failure investigations, root cause analysis, design changes, and product enhancements.
• Support process validation, characterization, optimization, and the transfer of new products from development into commercial manufacturing.
• Apply structured scientific problem-solving, hypothesis testing, and data-driven decision-making to resolve complex technical issues.
• Provide day-to-day scientific and technical support for manufacturing operations, including investigation of failures and process excursions.
• Design and execute experiments using advanced Design of Experiments methodologies.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain teams on operational and strategic technical initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience; or a master’s degree with 3+ years of experience; or a PhD.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting data, influencing decisions, and debating technical topics constructively.
• Availability for approximately 10% travel as needed for projects.
• Ability to work on-site in Hebron, Kentucky.

Nice to have

• Industrial experience in a regulated environment such as medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology.
• Hands-on experience with Design of Experiments, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.
• Experience optimizing biological or chemical products and processes.
