Technical Support Specialist (Clinical Chemistry and Blood Banking)

Location: Remote across Europe, with approximately 70% travel to client sites or meetings; the posting also lists Zagreb, Croatia.

What you will do

• Provide expert hardware and biochemical troubleshooting for clinical chemistry and blood banking diagnostic systems.
• Support local engineers and application teams, manage customer inquiries and escalations, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee repair and maintenance activities and provide remote troubleshooting to reduce system downtime.
• Maintain product expertise and develop and deliver technical training for internal teams and customers across Europe.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Quality and Regulatory, Engineering, and Applications on implementations, customer feedback, compliance, and service improvements.

Requirements

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electronics, IT, science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of technical support experience with hardware systems in the diagnostics or medical device industry.
• Experience with diagnostic hardware installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, plus diagnostic application installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization, or the ability to rapidly develop this expertise.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical and biochemical information clearly.
• Excellent command of English is required. A customer-focused mindset and proficiency with ticketing systems, remote support tools, and CRM software are also required.
• Remote work across Europe with approximately 70% travel to client sites or meetings is required. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required.
