Talent Acquisition Partner - Contract (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland, United States; office or hybrid environment. U.S. citizenship is required because the role requires the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Salary: $74,581.13–$102,549.04 per year

What you will do

• Source, attract, screen, and evaluate candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and other channels.
• Develop recruitment strategies with hiring managers and HR business partners.
• Build talent pipelines for A&D engineering, production, and field service needs.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records in the ATS and use data and analytics to improve processes.
• Provide clear candidate communication, support onboarding, and promote diverse hiring.
• Forecast talent needs and partner with the business to meet hiring demand.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or equivalent relevant experience; without a degree, 8+ years of related experience is required.
• 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition or a related field.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
• Knowledge of employment laws, strong project management and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Foundational knowledge of AI tools used in recruiting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace and defense, technical recruiting, or recruiting for engineering, production, and field service roles.
• Experience with Workday ATS, Beamery CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter, and candidate relationship management systems.
• HR or talent acquisition certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or AIRS.
• Experience with salary negotiation, candidate closing, and consultative recruitment engagements.
