Strategic Onboarding and Implementation Project Manager (Telecom)

What you will do

• Manage complex telecom service implementation and onboarding projects involving Enhanced Dark Fiber, Waves, Ethernet, and related services.
• Coordinate Ascend orders and records through production and completion with technical and outside plant project managers.
• Execute project plans, manage dependencies and milestones, and track performance metrics at project, market, and product or service levels.
• Manage large datasets, bulk-load templates, orders, operational reporting, and cross-functional project reviews.
• Maintain stakeholder communication and represent both customer and business feedback.
• Support daily project management operations and improve implementation workflows and toolsets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least five years of experience managing telecom service projects.
• Strong project management, critical thinking, risk analysis, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced experience with Salesforce and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Visio.
• Experience with big data management, bulk loading, change management, and project management methodologies.
• Expertise in Salesforce order staging, billing processes, provisioning plans, service order management, and fiber and packet engineering standards.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with outside plant and field operations processes.
• Experience influencing teams outside a direct reporting relationship.
