Salary: $77,100–$118,600 USD annually

What you will do
- Manage fiber construction projects from qualification and design through punch-list and close-out.
- Coordinate with fiber engineers, external vendors, subcontractors, clients, and project management teams.
- Review constructability, develop bid packages, competitively bid work, and negotiate project costs.
- Manage permits, construction plans, third-party materials, schedules, and project tracking records.
- Oversee aerial and underground site construction while resolving field issues and maintaining budget control.
- Monitor compliance with construction standards, safety requirements, and workmanship practices.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of construction experience and 1–3 years of direct telecommunications experience.
- Experience supervising construction contractors; three years is preferred.
- Knowledge of outside plant construction techniques for aerial and underground facilities.
- Familiarity with grounding and bonding tests, RF sweep testing, OTDR, optical power meters, and PIM testing.
- Working knowledge of NESC, NEC, and OSHA standards, plus strong project management and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent, a technical degree or equivalent experience, and a valid driver’s license.
Nice to have
- BSCE or equivalent work experience.
- PMP certification.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.
