Long Haul Facility Deployment Project Manager (Telecom)

What you will do

• Develop, plan, engineer, construct, and deliver new and long-haul route telecom facilities.
• Oversee construction vendors and manage ILA vendor relationships.
• Coordinate electrical utility design and procurement, including AC/DC power delivery to ILAs.
• Create and maintain project budgets, schedules, trackers, and capital expenditure forecasts.
• Manage procurement of facility materials and equipment, including purchase requisitions and invoice reconciliation.
• Coordinate with municipalities, authorities having jurisdiction, and internal teams to meet permit requirements and complete project handoffs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• At least seven years of construction industry experience with a telecom focus and seven years of construction management experience.
• Experience completing electrical utility forms and facilitating electrical utility procurement is required.
• Working knowledge of ISP construction standards, DC power, HVAC, and generator installation is required.
• Experience with inside plant construction methods, construction documents, ISP project management, and large capital projects.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft 365, SiteTracker, Visio, and Adobe; AutoCAD experience is a plus.
