Launch Vehicle Mission Assurance Systems Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Remote from California, United States; 100% remote work allowed

What you will do

• Design, develop, evaluate, and modify end-to-end launch vehicle systems and system-oriented products throughout their life cycle.
• Generate quantifiable system requirements and translate high-level product strategies into detailed implementation requirements.
• Design system interfaces and integrate hardware and software elements into a complete system.
• Develop requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures, and participate in testing and validation.
• Lead design reviews, assess technical performance, and ensure requirements traceability and compliance with customer and government standards.
• Act as a customer liaison and support business development, long-range technology planning, and major new business opportunities.

Requirements

• BS with 16–18 years, MS with 14 years, or PhD with 10 years of experience in an engineering discipline.
• 20+ years of experience in launch vehicle systems engineering, space launch integration or mission management, and/or mission analysis.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required and must be maintainable.
• Advanced technical expertise across multiple engineering fields and disciplines.
