Mechanical Engineer I (Manufacturing)

Location: Holdrege, Nebraska, USA; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Coordinate successful New Product Introduction launches within Operations.
• Improve manufacturing processes, product quality, material flow, information flow, and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to facility transformation, technology transfer, mixed-model lines, and value-stream maintenance.
• Create and maintain process policies, procedures, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Define area layouts and processes, and select, justify, and implement equipment, programs, and tooling.
• Work with shop-floor personnel and cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing methods, systems, and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology.
• 1–3 years of related engineering experience in a similar working environment.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ProE.
• Experience with CNC G-code and/or PLC programming.
• Knowledge of lean principles and process improvement.
• Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and priority-management skills.
