Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Oklahoma City, OK, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

Manufactures energy-efficient HVAC products and cooling solutions for data centers as part of Madison Industries.

What you will do

• Develop and implement manufacturing best practices for HVAC coils, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and assembly.
• Lead manufacturing projects from concept through production implementation, including equipment relocation and new product introductions.
• Optimize workstation layouts, line balancing, facility flow, material presentation, and lean logistics.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, safety, quality, productivity, 5S, Kanban, value stream mapping, and Total Productive Maintenance initiatives.
• Create routings, time studies, capacity and staffing models, standard work, operator instructions, and production playbooks.
• Design weld and assembly fixtures in AutoCAD, support root-cause analysis, and report project progress to the Director of Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least five years of successful lean transformation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience planning new program launches, coordinating special projects, and justifying capital equipment purchases.
• Experience creating process flows and work standards, performing manufacturing cost calculations, and managing cost-reduction projects.
• Hands-on experience prototyping, fabricating metal parts, and testing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and AutoCAD; ability to read mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
