Workday Adaptive Planning Senior

Location: Remote in Texas, USA; approximately 20% travel as needed.

What you will do

• Deliver assigned workstreams across Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects from discovery through deployment.
• Facilitate client workshops to map business operations, define planning-cycle goals, and identify decision-making metrics.
• Build, configure, maintain, test, and optimize financial planning and forecasting models.
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC, and other integration platforms.
• Automate financial workflows and reports, helping clients reduce manual data compilation and improve analysis.
• Train client teams and mentor associate consultants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; accounting, finance, business analytics, management information systems, fintech, or information systems preferred.
• At least 3 years of corporate financial accounting experience and at least 1 year of corporate financial planning experience.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, SQL, and integration platforms for connecting ERP and source systems.
• Knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, reporting, data flows, EPM, FP&A, or financial systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to explain technical information and business value to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Workday Adaptive Planning or other financial systems experience.
• Experience in EPM, FP&A, financial systems, or consulting.
