Commercial Construction Project Executive (Corporate Interiors)

What you will do

• Provide executive oversight for multiple Corporate Interiors and tenant improvement projects in the Dallas market.
• Lead projects from preconstruction, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor engagement through construction, turnover, and closeout.
• Review estimates, scopes of work, bid packages, subcontractor proposals, cost comparisons, schedules, forecasts, and project performance.
• Lead RFP responses, client presentations, project interviews, pursuits, contract negotiations, and business development activities.
• Manage project profitability, financial performance, quality, safety, risk, schedule, client satisfaction, change orders, and contractual issues.
• Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other operations team members while coordinating with field leadership.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of commercial construction experience, including significant experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Demonstrated experience delivering Corporate Interiors and tenant improvement projects throughout the complete project lifecycle.
• Strong estimating, budgeting, scope development, bid package, subcontractor evaluation, and cost comparison experience.
• Business development experience, including client relationship management, project pursuits, presentations, and securing new work.
• Experience leading multiple projects and project teams simultaneously, with advanced knowledge of construction drawings, contracts, schedules, cost reports, and project documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam, Adobe, JD Edwards, and other project software; a four-year degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or business is strongly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of the Dallas commercial construction and Corporate Interiors market.
• Additional relevant experience in lieu of a four-year degree.
