Superintendent - New Installation (Miami)

Location: Miami, Florida, United States; regular field and construction site visits required.

What you will do

• Manage construction operations and elevator installation projects to meet schedule, profitability, volume, and budget targets.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate construction field employees, including hiring and progressive discipline.
• Plan installation schedules and manpower needs using project management and scheduling tools.
• Administer safety programs, conduct audits, and complete weekly crew and day-one site visits.
• Coordinate subcontractor schedules, materials, turn-key installation activities, and project documentation.
• Review job status, change orders, purchase orders, receivables, credits, and other project approvals while resolving customer and union-related issues.

Requirements

• Experienced knowledge of the construction industry and general management, supported by a bachelor's degree, two years of branch departmental management experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to prepare reports, contract proposals, and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information, answer management and customer questions, analyze data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret technical, mathematical, and diagram-based instructions and manage multiple variables.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report required.
• Must be based in or work from Miami, Florida, United States, with regular site visits.
