Project Controls Analyst

What you will do

• Coordinate monthly close activities with project teams and Accounting, including cost and revenue accruals, adjustments, and actuals extraction.
• Develop Estimate at Completion templates and forecasts with Project Managers.
• Perform variance analysis, analytical reviews, arithmetic checks, and ad hoc project reporting.
• Monitor weekly project costs and manpower against budgets and verify accurate job-number charging.
• Support project financial systems, reporting, dashboarding, process improvements, cost transfers, and contract change orders.
• Lead weekly and monthly Project Status Reports and support internal project review presentations for stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of project cost controls experience.
• Project scheduling experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Primavera Project Planner (P6).
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Project or Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to analyze project data, investigate risks and issues, solve problems, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or Earned Value Professional (EVP) designation.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
