Production Manager (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Oxnard, California, USA; onsite production role

Salary: $106,600–$138,600 annually

What you will do

• Lead production operations and ensure products are manufactured to schedule and shipment requirements.
• Manage department budgets, capital investments, downtime, damages, and other financial priorities.
• Develop Team Leaders and Associates through onboarding, training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving across bakery operations and manufacturing processes.
• Deliver KPIs covering people, quality, safety, service, and cost.
• Promote safety programs, regulatory compliance, product quality, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of hands-on management experience and direct manufacturing experience in the food industry.
• Extensive knowledge of bakery operations, processing, and formulations.
• Strong technical skills and working knowledge of bakery equipment.
• Knowledge of safety requirements and compliance with state, federal, and local regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent education, training, and experience may be accepted.
