What you will do

• Deliver mechanical engineering solutions across the full development life cycle, from concept and design through testing and manufacture.
• Contribute to core product development, product enhancements, and new technologies for the nuclear power industry.
• Create design concepts, project plans, test specifications, technical records, and compliance reports.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure solutions comply with specifications, regulations, and internationally recognised standards.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into robust engineering outputs and provide cost estimates with cross-functional input.
• Present findings and engineering solutions to technical leads, senior managers, and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience designing products for the nuclear power industry.
• Awareness of NCR Regulation 10CFR Part 50 Appendix B, Part 21 reporting, CSA N299 standards, and IEEE Nuclear Standards 382, 323, 383, and 344.
• Design experience with castings, gears, electric motors, seals, CAD drawings, and 3D models.
• Experience analysing, designing, testing, and enhancing industrial products.
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, initiative, and understanding of information-processing fundamentals and best practices.
