What you will do

• Lead delivery of complex mechanical equipment and valve contract packages for a major nuclear programme.
• Manage safety, schedule, cost, technical performance, risks, milestones, budgets, and project controls.
• Administer contracts, including variations, claims, instructions, commercial governance, and close-out.
• Oversee Tier 1 supply chain performance and coordinate delivery across more than 100 international Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers.
• Coordinate engineering, commercial, quality, manufacturing, site, and programme teams through the full delivery lifecycle.
• Support nuclear qualification activities, pre-shipment requirements, resource planning, continuous improvement, and cross-programme dependency management.

Requirements

• Experience delivering projects in technically complex and highly regulated or safety-critical environments.
• Experience with multidisciplinary EPCM projects, complex contract procurement, cost and risk control, scheduling, change control, and Earned Value Management.
• Experience managing contractors and consultants on major construction projects, ideally under NEC or FIDIC frameworks.
• Strong commercial, financial, project, change, stakeholder, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Project Management, or equivalent military experience.
• The role may require Security Clearance and completion of Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.

• Experience with nuclear new-build projects.
