Attorney (Personal Injury)

Location: Full-time onsite at 535 5th Avenue, Suite 2600, New York, NY 10017, United States

Compensation: $110,000–$270,000 yearly. Base salary: $120,000–$160,000, plus a non-recoverable draw, commission/bonus structure, and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage pre-litigation and litigation personal injury cases from intake through settlement or resolution.
• Develop case strategies, prepare documentation, complete approvals, and guide cases through each stage of representation.
• Draft demands and settlement packages and negotiate settlements with insurance carriers.
• Conduct recorded statements, prepare clients for Examinations Under Oath and 50-h hearings, and attend hearings as required.
• Supervise 6–10 Case Managers, monitor KPIs, and maintain quality-control standards.
• Handle primarily personal injury matters, especially motor vehicle accident cases.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
• 3+ years of personal injury or motor vehicle accident experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and demonstrate strong writing, advocacy, communication, and organizational skills.
• Leadership ability and a self-starter mindset.
• Ability to work full-time from the New York City office and comply with firm attendance requirements.
