Litigation Attorney

Location: On-site at the hirify.global Center in Maplewood, Minnesota, at least four days per week. Domestic travel may be required up to 5%. Relocation may be authorized. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Salary: $250,253–$305,864 per year, including base pay and eligible variable incentive pay.

What you will do

• Manage strategies and tactics for complex, high-stakes litigation involving products liability, intellectual property, mass tort, class action, and MDL matters, excluding PFAS matters.
• Engage and manage outside counsel, litigation budgets, and fixed-fee arrangements.
• Participate in mediations and settlement conferences while gathering input from relevant stakeholders.
• Advise corporate functions and senior management on emerging legal, regulatory, and business risks.
• Lead litigation policy and program initiatives, including document retention, electronic discovery, and litigation communications.
• Build partnerships across Finance, HR, Enterprise Risk Management, and legal teams to advance litigation and dispute-resolution objectives.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree, completed and verified before starting.
• At least 10 years of law-firm and/or in-house litigation experience.
• Demonstrated expertise managing complex, high-stakes litigation involving products liability, intellectual property, mass tort, class action, and MDL matters.
• Strong strategic judgment and the ability to provide clear, practical, and actionable legal advice to senior company management.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• First- or second-chair jury and bench trial experience.
• Experience leading global teams of in-house and outside counsel and other legal professionals.
• Executive-level presence, creative thinking, and a willingness to challenge established approaches.
