Area Manager, Fulfillment Operations (Logistics)

Location: Onsite at 4779 Hanoverville Rd, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, United States. Night shift: Sunday–Wednesday, 4:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m. The role requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and frequent bending, reaching, and pushing or pulling during 8–10 hour shifts.

Salary: $75,000 base annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of 30+ warehouse associates, including temporary and full-time employees.
• Review forecasts, set productivity requirements, and partner with other Area Managers to balance labor and meet shift goals.
• Track operational metrics including VCPO, UPH, OPH, receiving and shipping performance, merchant SLAs, and injury rates.
• Identify process improvements, troubleshoot escalated issues, and implement solutions to maintain operational standards.
• Train associates and leads, assign work, provide feedback, approve timecards, and support employee engagement.
• Maintain safe and compliant fulfillment workflows, including OSHA, hygiene, contamination-control, and quality procedures.

Requirements

• 2+ years of people management and operational leadership experience in a high-volume 3PL fulfillment environment.
• Experience managing performance, delivering feedback, training employees, and developing leadership talent.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerBI, and TMS systems, with strong analytical and KPI-tracking skills.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills, including comfort managing ambiguity.
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts and non-traditional hours as required by business operations.
• Must be able to work onsite and meet the physical requirements of the fulfillment-center role.
